How to Make a Generated Element Content Editable

As you may have noticed that ShortPoint elements created in ShortPoint Generator are not editable in Page Builder

In this article you can find out more about how to create ShortPoint element in ShortPoint Generator, where you will be able to add content to one of its fields, for example, a Title.

Our example: We have created the Button element in ShortPoint Generator and we want to use it on different pages, but with different Titles. You can choose other fields to be editable.

Step 1: Create Button element in ShortPoint Generator
Go to the ShortPoint Dashboard and open the ShortPoint Generator, then create the Button element.

Step 2: Add %%content%%

Open the settings of the Button element, and insert %%content%% to Title field. Save it.

Step 3: Add the generated element to your page

Open the Page Builder. You will see the new custom ShortPoint elements in the end of the elements list marked with 

Step 4: Edit the content in the field

After you have chosen the generated element from the Page Builder, it will open up and the Title will be editable, just like in the screenshot below. Add a title and press Insert button

Save the changes and that's it.
Now you are able to set the Title for your element you have created in ShortPoint Generator. In the following page, the buttons are re-used with same customizations, but different Titles for each:
