One of the first steps you need to take in order to fully take advantage of the new features of ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode is to complete the migration process from the old interface into the new experience. This is triggered when you begin editing a page on your site or tenancy where the upgrade is installed.
Here, we will walk you through the simple steps to complete migration and start designing your SharePoint intranet page with the new ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode.
Note: ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode was formerly known as Visual Builder and Grid Mode was formerly known as Wireframe Builder.

How to Complete ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode Migration
The migration process is automatically triggered for each modern page separately once you begin editing a ShortPoint web part on that page. Start by going to the page you need to edit and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Edit ShortPoint web part
Select the ShortPoint web part you wish to migrate and click Edit. This will open a notification window asking you to take action to migrate your page to the new ShortPoint Page Builder with Live Mode experience.
If you need more information, you can watch the video tutorial about migration which you can access through the pop-up window, check out our support article on migration, or ask for assistance in determining your next steps by hitting Schedule a Session which will connect you with our support team. They will be able to guide you through the process and provide you with answers to any questions you may have.
You also have the option to postpone migration by closing the window. However, you will not be able to edit any ShortPoint web part until you complete the migration.
NOTE: If you have connected Design Elements with more than 300 items returned, we recommend to lower the items limit first before migrating to prevent your page from slowing down.
Step 2: Select Switch to New Builder
To proceed with migrating your page, press the Switch to New Builder button. This will start the migration process. Once completed, a new notification will appear indicating that the page was migrated successfully. Click Got it and you will now have access to edit the page with the new ShortPoint Page Builder with Live Mode.
You may encounter a follow-up notification window informing you that your page contains unsupported layouts and that they will automatically be converted to supported layouts. Please check out our support article on Unsupported Layout: Inserting Rows Inside Content-Holder Design Elements is Not Supported in ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode and Grid Mode for more information.
