Prerequisites
- You must have the latest version of ShortPoint SPFx installed on your SharePoint environment.
- You are a ShortPoint Designer with an active license.
What is the Action Toolbar?
The Action Toolbar is a semi-transparent bar that contains ready-to-access icons you can use to easily edit your SharePoint pages. It is always present while you are in edit mode and can be collapsed into one button for you to have a better view of your page.

Action Toolbar Features
The following features are available from the Action Toolbar:
 | X icon | allows you to collapse and expand the Action Toolbar. This gives you the ability to see a full view of your intranet page without many distractions. |
 | Switch to icon | When you enter edit mode, the default interface will be Live Mode. Hitting the switch-to icon brings you to the Grid Mode interface. It allows you to toggle back and forth between the two ShortPoint interfaces at your own convenience. |
 | Clock icon | allows you to launch the History window, where you can view and revert your design edits and actions. For more details about the ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode History feature, access our support article about it. |
 | Copy Webpart icon | allows you to easily copy a full ShortPoint web part from an existing SharePoint page. For more details about the Live Mode Copy and Paste feature, access our support article about it. |
 | Question mark icon | provides you with resources you can use as you design your SharePoint pages. |
 | Trash icon | allows you to remove existing content on a ShortPoint web part. This will not affect other ShortPoint web parts on the page, just the one that you are currently editing. |

 | Discard | allows you to disregard any modifications you have made. This will not affect any changes you made for other ShortPoint web parts on the page. |
 | Save | ensures that your design edits are saved for a ShortPoint web part |
