ShortPoint SPFx and ShortPoint Dashboard in Site Contents: Which App to Use?

With the release of new ShortPoint SPFx, and adoption of new Microsoft SPFx framework, Microsoft made the Apps in SharePoint non-clickable because they don't have a separate sub-site. Hence, to keep the ShortPoint Experience same as before, we decided to create a link in Site Contents called ShortPoint Dashboard

INFO: If for some reason, ShortPoint Dashboard is missing in Site contents library, you may check ShortPoint SPFx - Missing / Deleted ShortPoint Dashboard from Site Contents.

What is ShortPoint SPFx app used for?

The ShortPoint SPFx App in Site Contents will be used if you want to switch to a newer version. If you already have ShortPoint SPFx 7.1.5.xx version or higher, then the only upgrade option for you, is the New Upgrade

NOTE: You can learn more about ShortPoint New Upgrade feature by checking ShortPoint SPFx New Upgrade for Office 365 and SharePoint 2019.
