ShortPoint SPFx App Catalog Upgrade (Office 365)

Please note: this article is old and dedicated to ShortPoint versions that are currently outdated. Starting with ShortPoint SPFx 7.1.5.xx version, we introduced new upgrade approach:

The App Catalog Upgrade is the main type of upgrade used for keeping ShortPoint SPFx version up-to-date. 

To upgrade the ShortPoint SPFx version, please follow the steps below. Each step has a detailed description after you click the hyperlink.

Prerequisites:

• You have ShortPoint SPFx installed on your Office 365 Environment;
• You have a notification to upgrade your app.

Instructions:

1. Upgrade Step 1: Upload New ShortPoint SPFx App File to Tenant App Catalog (Office 365);
   

2. Upgrade Step 2: Update ShortPoint SPFx on SharePoint Site (Office 365);

3. Upgrade Step 3: Run Reinstallation and Upgrade from ShortPoint SPFx Dashboard (Office 365).
