This article is for you if:
- You use ShortPoint SPFx on SharePoint 2019 On-Premise environment. If you use Office 365 environment, check this article: ShortPoint SPFx One-Click Upgrade (Office 365) Tutorial.
- In your site where you have installed ShortPoint SPFx, you get an update that there is a new one-click upgrade available.
Before we begin
- This article is a tutorial. We will show you how to upgrade with One-Click Upgrade option.

One Click Upgrade from the ShortPoint Page Builder/Theme Builder
If you saw the notification from the ShortPoint Page Builder or the ShortPoint Theme Builder, all you have to do is the following:
Step 1: Click the One Click Upgrade button
In Page Builder:
In Theme Builder:
It will take you directly to the upgrade page.
Step 2: Click the Upgrade button
One Click Upgrade from the ShortPoint Dashboard Page
If you saw the message in the ShortPoint Dashboard page, you will have to do similar to the above steps:
Step 1: Click the One Click Upgrade button or the Reinstallation & Upgrade tile
It will take you directly to the Upgrade page.
Step 2: Click the Upgrade button
Important
While the upgrade is in progress (the progress area is light-red), do NOT close your browser window:
When the upgrade is completed, the progress area will turn light-green:
You are done :)
