Issue: What is happening?
You may have encountered an issue where, when you scroll through a Facebook feed on your SharePoint site, the posts get stuck in a loop. Usually, the feed shows the first five posts correctly, but when you try to scroll down to see more, it will show a loading animation for some time.

Then, it simply reloads starting from the most recent post again. We know how frustrating this is when you are trying to keep your team updated with the latest social news.

Reason: Why is this happening?
After looking into this, our team discovered that the problem is actually coming from Facebook’s own system. Since we use Facebook’s official tools to bring that content into SharePoint, any issue on their side shows up on your page too. We’ve tested this outside of ShortPoint and confirmed that the issue is happening within Facebook's own plugins, which means it isn’t a bug caused by your page design or the ShortPoint software.
Status: What are we doing about it?
Because this depends on Facebook updating its own tools, we don’t have a specific date for when this issue will be fixed. However, we don't want you to have to wait on them. Our developers are currently building brand-new ways to display social media feeds that won't rely on these specific tools. This will give you a much smoother experience and more control over how your social media embeds look. Please keep an eye out for upcoming product updates, where we will introduce these better ways to connect your social media.
