After setting up the dynamic connection for the ShortPoint Design Elements (in the Connect tab), you need to map the items to indicate which columns of your SharePoint List or Library will correspond to the fields available in the Design Element.
The Link field is used to make the items hyperlinked and point to some source after clicking. If you ever had doubts on whether you need to choose Item URL or Item Dialog URL and what the difference is between them, this article is for you.

Note: The Outlook event items already displayed with no header and footer, so you will get the same result using either Item URL or Item Dialog URL option.
What is the Item URL option?
You can choose the Item URL as value for the Link property, while mapping the items.
Once the users click the Design Element items, they will be redirected to the source item page in the SharePoint list or library.
Note: For this example we chose a lightbox as a Linking option to open the item source in an iframe. You can set a Linking option to define how you would like your link to be opened: in the same window, in a new window, in a lightbox or in a dialog. What is the Item Dialog URL option?
Item Dialog URL can also be chosen as a Link property.
In this case, once the users click the Design Element items, they will also be redirected to the single item page in the SharePoint list or library, just like with the Item URL. However, the dialog will cut off the header and footer of this page wherever possible, presenting only the main page content, like in this example:
