Good News! ShortPoint is now fully compatible with Modern SharePoint Page's Undo and Redo actions.
How does it work?
Step 1: Edit your modern page
Step 2: Edit your ShortPoint WebPart
Step 3: Perform your changes
You can perform any ShortPoint Page Builder changes such as add, update or remove your ShortPoint Design elements, manage spaces between your design elements or manage page layout.
Step 4: Exit ShortPoint WebPart edit mode
Once you are done with your changes, you can exit ShortPoint WebPart edit mode by clicking anywhere else on the screen which will switch ShortPoint WebPart to Display mode from Edit mode.
Note: if you click any of Save as draft, Discard changes or Republish, you cannot take advantage of Undo and Redo functionality.
Now you will notice Redo and Undo action as shown below:
Notes and Recommendations
- Undo and Redo actions will be available only during authoring the page.
- If you are working on larger pages which require you to stay on the page for longer time, we recommend you utilize SharePoint Modern Page undo and redo functionality by periodically exiting from ShortPoint WebPart edit mode (As described in Step 4 above).
- This feature is only applicable for SharePoint Modern Pages.
