Please note: this article is old and dedicated to App Catalog Upgrade. This Upgrade is related to ShortPoint versions that are currently outdated. Starting with ShortPoint SPFx 7.1.5.xx version, we introduced new upgrade approach:

Before we begin

• You read this notice for SPFx version 6.1.0.0
• This article is for SharePoint 2019
• Download Latest version of ShortPoint SPFx

Step 1: Go to Central Administration

From your SharePoint Server 2019 farm, open SharePoint 2019 Central Administration

Step 2: Go to Manage App Catalog

Navigate to Manage App Catalog page

From your Central Administration, Click on Apps -> Manage App Catalog

Step 3: Open app catalog

Click on the App Catalog Url

Step 4: Go to Apps for SharePoint library

In the next screen, on the side menu, choose Apps for SharePoint.

Step 5: Update the ShortPoint SPFx app

Important: 

If you are upgrading from ShortPoint SPFx 6.1.0.0 please perform these tasks before proceeding further

Extract the zip file you downloaded you received from shortpoint.com, and you will find shortpoint-spfx.sppkg

You should see the existing ShortPoint SPFx app. Click Upload

Click Replace it 

Note: you will not get this popup when upgrading from 6.1.0.0

You should have noticed that the version number increased. 

Also, make sure that the new ShortPoint SPFx has value yes in the Deployed column 

Now you have to open the sites where you added ShortPoint SPFx App and start the updating the app on the sites.
