Step 1: Visit ShortPoint Demos Website
Open demos.shortpoint.com.
The site contains many examples we created using ShortPoint. Spend some time navigating through pages. If you like any sample, you can copy and paste directly into your page.
Choose any page you like and click it to open for copying:
Step 2: Copy Page
At the top of every Demo Page, you will see the “Copy Page” button that will copy the entire page design:
Or you can copy any part of the page. Simply enable Allow to copy parts option, navigate to the section you'd like to copy and click the Copy button:
Step 3: Paste in a SharePoint Page or Teams Tab
Before we begin: Always paste in an empty area
Note: You can skip this section if you are using SharePoint 2019 and Office 365 with ShortPoint SPFx version 8.0.x.xx and later. For this version, you will have a Grid Mode and Live Mode (modern pages only) experience, that does not require pasting in an empty area.
Platforms:
- SharePoint 2013
- SharePoint 2016
- SharePoint 2019 with ShortPoint SPFx version below 8.0.x.xx (using Legacy Page Builder)
- Office 365with ShortPoint SPFx version below 8.0.x.xx (using Legacy Page Builder)
- Microsoft Teams
For the platforms mentioned above, you will need to paste the copied content in an empty area and not inside any other existing ShortPoint content:

In a Classic SharePoint Page
Edit the page. Navigate to an empty area and paste the copied content. You can use the context menu (mouse right-click) or the shortcut command (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, depending on your laptop OS):
In a Modern SharePoint Page
Legacy Page Builder
Edit the page. Add a ShortPoint web part and delete the default ShortPoint Section. Put your cursor within an empty area inside the web part and paste the copied content. You can use the context menu (mouse right-click) or the shortcut command (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, depending on your laptop OS):
Grid Mode
Note: Grid Mode is only available if you are using ShortPoint SPFx version 8.0.x.xx and later on SharePoint 2019 or Office 365 environment.
Edit the page. Add a ShortPoint web part.
There are two ways of pasting the content in Grid Mode: using the context menu (right-click and paste) or using the Other Actions controls:
Info: You cannot delete the default Section in Grid Mode - there always should be at least one Section inside the web part. You may surely delete it after pasting the copied content.

Live Mode
Note: Live Mode is only available if you are using ShortPoint SPFx version 8.0.x.xx and later on SharePoint 2019 or Office 365 environment in Modern experience.
Edit the page. Add a ShortPoint web part and switch to the Live Mode.
There are two ways of pasting the content in Live Mode: using the context menu (right-click and paste) or using EasyPass Active mode and Other Actions:
Info: You cannot delete the default Section in Live Mode - there always should be at least one Section inside the web part. You may surely delete it after pasting the copied content.

In a Teams Tab
Add a new tab and select ShortPoint from the available options. Click Start now button under the Start from scratch section to insert ShortPoint web part. Then, delete the default ShortPoint Section.
Put your cursor within an empty area inside the web part and paste the copied content. You can use the context menu (mouse right-click) or the shortcut command (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V, depending on your laptop OS):
Step 4: Save Your Page or Tab
In a Classic SharePoint page, click the Save button in the top right corner:
In a Modern SharePoint page, click Save as draft (1) and/or Publish (2):
In a Teams tab, click Publish:
Step 5: Edit Whatever You Want
After you paste the page design, simply customize any Design Element that you want by using ShortPoint Page Builder:

Copying and pasting in Live Mode
