About Master Account Integration
All page visitors will not be required to log in to view Power BI Data.
Connect One Master Power BI Pro Account with Power BI Embedded. To know how to create Power BI Embedded capacity, click here.
Recommend for 20+ SharePoint Users
This option is recommended if you have more than 20 SharePoint users who you want them to access Power BI Data within SharePoint site. If you have less than 20 users, we recommend going with Logged In User Integration.
Note: We do suggest using the Master Account integration for over 20 users only for the pricing point of view, as you will need to purchase an Embedded capacity.

Option 1: Master Account Integration for SharePoint On-Premise/Online
Prerequisites:
- ShortPoint version 5.4.0.6 or later is installed on your environment.
- You have a valid Power BI Pro Account
- Power BI Embedded is configured in Azure for the Master Power BI Account
- You are Global Office 365 Tenant Admin
STEP 1. Navigate to ShortPoint Integrations
Go to your ShortPoint Dashboard and click Integrations:
STEP 2. Connect Microsoft Graph
In the Integrations panel, you will see Microsoft Graph and Power BI tiles.
Press Connect on Microsoft Graph.
You will be asked to sign in. Please sign in with the user having at least App Administration rights in your Azure AD. In case your Power BI tenancy is different from your Office 365 tenancy, you need to use your Power BI tenancy admin credential as we need rights to your Power BI tenancy.
Once you sign in, you shall be asked to grant ShortPoint app a different set of permissions required to fetch report and dashboard details and render the reports, please click Accept.
Wait until the connection is configured and the Microsoft Graph button becomes green:
STEP 3. Connect Power BI
Press Connect on Power BI.
Please provide credentials of Power BI master account (Please make sure that the account is configured to use cloud authentication only. Click here to know more about it). The master account is the account we will use when embedding content for you. You can embed reports with logged-in user permissions or with the master account and Power BI embedded capacity. The master account should have Power BI Pro license and full access to Power BI Workspaces (Groups).

STEP 4. Now you are ready to use your reports
Select the report you want to use from the dropdown options.

That's it! Now, you are ready to embed Power BI reports and dashboards into your pages using ShortPoint Page Builder.
Option 2: Master Account Integration for Microsoft Teams
Prerequisites:
- You have ShortPoint for Microsoft Teams version or higher installed
- You have a valid Power BI Pro Account
- Power BI Embedded Capacity is configured in Azure for the Master Power BI Account
- You are a Global Office 365 Tenant Admin
STEP 1. Navigate to ShortPoint Integrations
On your ShortPoint Teams Tab, begin in edit mode by selecting Settings from the dropdown. Hit the Settings cogwheel and click the Integrations Tab.
STEP 2. Connect Microsoft Graph
To set up Power BI, you will need integration with Microsoft Graph. Please press Microsoft Graph in the Integrations Tab, hit Get Token, enter your credentials, Accept permissions, copy resulting token, and paste on the Graph Token field. Press Connect to complete.
Once successfully connected, you can proceed to the next step.
STEP 3: Connect Power BI
You can now proceed to Power BI integration. Select Power BI in the Integrations Tab. This will open a new window asking for your Power BI Master Account and password. Enter these and click Connect.
Wait until the connection is established, and the indicator says that ShortPoint is Connected to Power BI. Your Power BI Integration is now complete.
STEP 4: Add ShortPoint Power BI design element
Begin to edit your Teams tabs, insert a ShortPoint Power BI design element, and add the Power BI asset you want to embed. You can then preview the result.
Hit Insert when you are satisfied with the output and Publish your changes. You can now freely add critical Power BI dashboards and reports on your Teams tabs.
