How to Present News as a Slideshow in SharePoint

Step 1: Edit the ShortPoint Page

Go to the SharePoint page you want to use and click Edit:

Close the Toolbox:

Step 2: Insert the News Web Part

Click the plus icon to add a web part:

Use the search bar to look for News and select it:

Step 3: Edit and Customize the News Web Part

Click the Edit Properties icon:

Select a News Source. You can use any news source you prefer, but for this guide, we will use the news from other sites:

Then, scroll down and choose the Carousel layout to create a slideshow:

(Optional) Enable Automatically cycle news to make the slideshow play on its own:

Step 4: Publish

Once satisfied, close the News web part settings:

Finally, Publish the page:
