Prerequisites

What's New?

Previously, ShortPoint Designers could only move Sections/Rows up or down in Grid Mode:

But since Grid Mode will be retiring soon, we crafted the perfect solution for you: Drag and Drop! Starting with ShortPoint SPFx version 9.4.0.0 and above, you can now use Drag and Drop to move Design Elements up or down and even anywhere on your page:

Frequently Asked Questions

Which ShortPoint version do I need to move Design Elements with Drag and Drop?

You need ShortPoint SPFx version 9.4.0.0 or later. If you don't see the option, update ShortPoint SPFx to the latest version.

Which Design Elements can I move?

You can move any Design Elements. Click the element's EasyPass tag, then drag it to where you want it.

Can I still use the move arrows in Grid Mode?

Grid Mode is retiring soon. We recommend using Drag and Drop in Live Mode instead.

Can I move Design Elements somewhere other than up or down?

Yes. Drag and Drop lets you move Design Elements anywhere on your page, not just up or down.

What if I drop a Design Element in the wrong place?

Just drag it again to the right spot. If you want to undo all your unsaved changes, click Discard instead of Save.

Will visitors see the new order right away?

No. Visitors only see your changes after you click Save and then Publish the page.
