When You Are Not Assigned as a ShortPoint Designer

Issue

In case you want to use ShortPoint, but see the following message when editing the page:

"You're not assigned as a ShortPoint Designer. Learn how to get a license":

It means that you have a ShortPoint license in your organization, but you were not added to the list of ShortPoint Designers.

Reason

Your organization has a ShortPoint license, but your account has not been assigned a Designer seat.

Solution

Option 1.

Ask the tenant admin to check if there are available seats to assign to your account.

The admin can do that through ShortPoint Dashboard > Licensing.

Option 2. 

Consider purchasing an additional ShortPoint Designer seat.

In case a new Designer seat was purchased, please ask your admin to add you as described in Option 1 above.
