The YouTube Design Element allows you to bring YouTube content to your SharePoint page. In this article, we show you some of the details you need to know when integrating YouTube into your intranets.

What is the YouTube Design Element?
The YouTube Design Element allows you to embed publicly available video content from YouTube. You have the option to add individual videos or add a playlist that users can access from your SharePoint page.
Here is an example of what it would look like on a page:
You can find it as one of the Design Element options you can insert using ShortPoint. It falls under the Media category in Page Builder.

In the YouTube Design Element settings window, you will find options to customize how your video content will be displayed.

- Youtube URL is the main URL of the YouTube video or playlist that you want to embed. This can be copied directly from the address bar. This is a required field.
- Width allows you to control how wide your YouTube video will display on your page. You can use the slider to determine the exact width or enter a number in pixels, em, or percentage format.
Once you have entered your video’s URL, hit Insert and the thumbnail of your video will now appear on your page. Users can simply press the play button and they have access to the video directly from the page.
