Short Interactive Tutorial
Prerequisite

Required Permissions
- You need to be the Site Collection Administrator for the Site Collection where you are adding ShortPoint.
Step 1. Open the target site's Site Contents
Select the site you would like to install ShortPoint on, navigate to that site, and open its Site Contents. In our example, we will be adding ShortPoint to the Communication Site.
Click the cog wheel on the top and select Site Contents:
Step 2: Add a new app
In the Site Contents, click New and select App from the drop-down:
Step 3: Select ShortPoint and wait until it's added
In the Apps you can add section, select ShortPoint SPFx and click Add.
After it's added the button becomes greyed out:
Step 4: Select ShortPoint - Install Now!
After the previous step, go back to the Site Contents and wait for the ShortPoint - Install Now! app to appear there. It may take a couple of minutes and/or a page refresh. Click it after it appears:
The ShortPoint Dashboard will open and the installation will be completed automatically. You will see this screen first:
Then, you will be taken to the success page. This means, ShortPoint became available in your site.
Step 5. Start designing!
You can open any new or existing page in the site and see that the ShortPoint Web Part icon has appeared in the list of available web parts:
That's it! In the same way, you can Add ShortPoint to as many new sites as needed.
