On the SharePoint 2019 environment with an unsecured protocol (http), the pasting experience in ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode and Grid Mode will not work the same as it would with a secured protocol (https). When pasting ShortPoint content onto your secure (https) SharePoint pages, you will see the Design Element right away (Figure 1 below). However, when pasting on insecure pages (http), you will first see a popup window where you will need to paste the shortcode, and then select the desired location to insert the pasted ShortPoint content (Figure 2 below).
Note: ShortPoint Page Builder Live Mode was formerly known as Visual Builder.

This article explains how you can paste ShortPoint content with this method, such as that copied from the ShortPoint Demos website.

Before we begin
You must be a ShortPoint user with an active license, and have ShortPoint SPFx version 8.0.x.xx or later installed on the SharePoint 2019 environment.
Why the pasting experience is different
Modern browsers do not allow reading from the clipboard in JavaScript on insecure pages for security and privacy reasons.

Then select a desired Paste option from the options shown. There are the following paste options:

- Paste Inside. Use this option if you would like to insert the copied Design Element inside the current Design Element. This option is only available for content-holder Design Elements.
Note: The content-holder Design Elements are Column, Accordions, Alert, Animate, Background, Frame, Info, List, Panel, Tabs, Templates, TOC Content, Toggles, Well.
- Paste After. Use this option if you would like to insert the copied Design Element after the current Design Element.
The pasted code will be processed, and all plain HTML will be added as a Text Design Element.
