This article is outdated and deprecated. Starting May 2022, the App Catalog is created automatically in Office 365. You can proceed with Step 1 of the installation of ShortPoint for Teams.
This article will explain how to set up the Tenant App Catalog on your Office 365 SharePoint Environment, so you can add ShortPoint App for Teams to it after. If you already have a Tenant App Catalog configured, you can skip completing this prerequisite and proceed to Upload ShortPoint to Tenant App Catalog.

Step 1: Login to your Office 365 Admin
Log in to your Office 365 admin center page with an administrator account, then choose Admin:
Step 2: Go to SharePoint Admin Center
Select SharePoint Admin Center from the side panel:
Step 3: Open App Catalog page
Open Classic features from the left menu section:
Click Open button under the Apps section:
Open the App Catalog:
- Automatically;
- Manually;
- Using the URL for an existing App Catalog.
We recommend choosing automatic creation - it is the fastest option (takes up to 1 min) and doesn't require any manual configuration. On the App Catalog Site page, choose OK to accept the default option and create a new app catalog site:
Now every time you open your App Catalog, this will open your App Catalog site where you can start uploading Apps for SharePoint. The site will look like this with a different title, of course:
