The Twitter ShortPoint element is here as part of the new Social Media Elements Category in the ShortPoint Page Builder. Using this element, you can embed a Twitter profile feed into your SharePoint pages.
You can find it in the Page Builder by either clicking the Social category at the top or by typing "twitter" in the search bar:
Clicking on the Twitter element will open its Settings tab allowing to customize various options.
Take a look at the demo page we have set up for this design element and see it in action by following this link.
- Twitter feed URL: This option is required and can be extracted from the address bar by visiting the Twitter profile feed that you want to embed in your browser.
*Note: For example, to embed a ShortPoint Twitter feed, we would use the following Twitter feed URL: https://twitter.com/shortpoint_tw?lang=en
- Dark theme: This option can be enabled to use a dark color scheme for increased contrast.
- Link color: Select a custom color to be used for links inside the embedded feed from our ShortPoint color palette.
The following set of options controls the size and responsiveness of this Social Media element.
The Width and Height options are pretty self-explanatory. The Width has a minimum value of 220 pixels, while the minimum Height is 200 pixels. The element is responsive by default.
We hope this article has been helpful for introducing you to the new Twitter Social Media element and showing you how easy it is to use. Happy embedding!
