Issue

If you were trying to install ShortPoint Add-In, and you noticed that install button ( or upgrade button ) seems to be broken ( see the next image ), then this article might help you get this issue resolved.

Reason

ShortPoint is trying to access a file from a site that has been blocked by the AdBlock Chrome extension. 

Note that the blocked file is not advertisement related at all, ShortPoint tries to access that file in order to know what is the latest available public version of the product.

Solution

Click on the AdBlock extension > Don't run on pages on this site:

Move the Site slider to the very right side, and click on the Exclude button, as shown next:
