This article is for:
- SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, and Microsoft 365 Customers.
- Customers using ShortPoint SPFx installation type.
This article is not for ShortPoint Farm Solutions for SharePoint 2013 and 2016 On Premise farms customers. Our farm solutions reference all ShortPoint assets from the physical storage in the customer's servers (locally).
Content Delivery Network
ShortPoint for Microsoft 365, SharePoint 2019, and SharePoint Online relies on the content delivery network (CDN) to distribute the main JavaScript and CSS files. We use Amazon CloudFront – Content Delivery Network (CDN) for best performance and optimizations.
This is for the purpose of downloading all of ShortPoint's core assets and does not push or send data from your sites.
Firewall
Many Microsoft 365, SharePoint 2019, and SharePoint Online customers have very restricted environments in terms of internet access and require all URLs they access to be explicitly allowed via a group policy and on their firewalls.
In these situations, firewalls will block the sites from downloading ShortPoint core assets (JavaScript and CSS files). Therefore, ShortPoint will not work. There are certain domains that require whitelisting in order to solve this issue.
Whitelist Domains (URLs)
The list below contains the domains you have to whitelist or allow in order for ShortPoint to work on your SharePoint or Microsoft 365 environment:
