Known Issue: System Users and Apps Are Displayed In My Element After Connecting via People Search

If you have used the solution described in the article: Connection Types: People Search, and as a result, you see undesirable system users and apps displayed in your element, please follow this article to learn how to hide them.



TABLE OF CONTENTS


Step 1: Edit the ShortPoint Design Element


Click the cog wheel icon to open the settings of the ShortPoint Design Element you have used to connect to People Search.



Step 2: Edit Advanced query


2.1. Switch to the Connect tab



2.2. Click Disconnect


 

2.3. Enable Advanced Query option



2.4. Copy the following piece of code

&refinementfilters='SPS-UserType:range(0,max)'


2.5. Paste the copied code to the Advanced query



Step 3: Set up the connection


Click Connect and wait for the connection to load.



Step 4: Update and save the page


You may click Preview button to check how it will be displayed on your page. 



Click Update and save the page.



Result

That's it. Now only the users' profiles will be displayed.
