ShortPoint Connect allows you to pull list or library contents from within your site or other site collections. Toggles design element allows you to set which toggle will be open by default and displayed to the user. In this article we will show you how you can set Toggles design element to display one of the dynamically connected items by default.

Prerequisites

• You are using ShortPoint version 6.9.40.4 or higher
• You have your SharePoint list already prepared in your site.

STEP 1: Add Yes/No type of column

Add Yes/No column and name it. In our example we called it Display.

STEP 2:  Set the item you want to display

Select the item of the list you want to display by default. Fill in the Display column with Yes. Other items, please set to No.

STEP 3: Set the Toggles element to open this item by default

Open the settings of the Toggles element and navigate to Items tab and map the fields you want to be displayed.
Please make sure to map Open field with Display column. Click the Insert and now item you have marked as Yes will be opened by default in Toggles element.
