The SharePoint Color Palette and Themes Tool allows you to easily manage SharePoint themes on your site. To use the tool, simply open ShortPoint's modern Theme builder and navigate to General Settings > Color Palette > Color Theme Tool. Creating a theme
Default theme
By default when you publish color customization in Modern theme builder without creating a theme, a new theme called ShortPoint will be created and applied on your site. This ShortPoint theme will always contain your color customization until you create a new theme.
New theme
To create a new SharePoint theme, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have made all your color customization
2. Go to General Settings > Color Palette > Color Theme Tool
3. Click on the dropdown
4. Type in the name of the theme you wish to create
5. Click on the option with the name of your theme in the dropdown
6. Click Create new
7. That's all, your SharePoint theme has been created
Updating a theme
You can update an existing theme by following these simple steps:
1. Go to General Settings > Color Palette > Color Theme Tool
2. From the dropdown, select the theme you wish to update
3. Go back to any color category and make your color changes
4. Go back to the Color Theme Tool section
5. Click Update
6. That's all, your existing is updated
Deleting a theme
Deleting an existing theme is equally straightforward. Please follow these simple steps:
1. Go to General Settings > Color Palette > Color Theme Tool
2. From the dropdown, select the theme you wish to delete
3. Click Delete
4. The theme you have selected should already be deleted now.
