Known Issue: No Crawled Properties Found after Searching for "Birthday"

Issue:

The Crawled Properties search did not return any results for "birthday" property request.

Reason: 

• There are no User Profiles in which the Birthday field contains information.

or

• The information from the User Profile Birthday field is not yet crawled (which means less than 8 hours have passed since the fields were populated).

Solution: 

In order for the Crawled Properties search to show the Birthday property, there should be at least one user profile which has the birthday property set. Once you have at least one profile with birthday property set, finish one crawl so SharePoint search engine will pick birthday as a crawled property. If these steps are not done, you will not be

able to see People:SPS-Birthday property in Crawled Properties search.
