Adding Your First Power BI Reports to SharePoint

After reading this article, you will learn how to embed a simple Power BI report into your page. 

Here is what we will achieve by the end of this tutorial:

Prerequisite: 

Power BI integration in ShortPoint Dashboard is configured (process explained in this article).

STEP 1: Insert Power BI Element.

Place the cursor into the desired space on your page and open the ShortPoint Page Builder. Choose Power BI from the list of design elements. You will see the setting of the element opened.

STEP 2: Select the Power BI Asset You Would Like to Embed

Select the Workspace, Dashboard and Tile you would like to show. If you want to embed a whole report, please choose Report in the What do you want to show field. Press Insert:

STEP 3: Save the Page and Switch to Render Mode.
